With over twenty-five years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence software, Simon Tucker is a veteran product and customer experience executive and holds the title of Anaplan’s Chief Planning Officer. As CPO, Simon is responsible for the external evangelism of the Anaplan platform and technology, as well as the wider reach of the company ecosystem through its global on-line community and regional user groups worldwide. The office of the Chief Planning Officer also designs, promotes and evangelizes the Master Anaplanner and University Connect programs, the Centers of Excellence Program, and is also a key driver in the future technology roadmap for the platform.

Serving as part of the initial Anaplan founding team since 2009, Simon has been instrumental in advising customers on how to maximize value from its solutions, with domain expertise in forecasting and modeling – and all aspects of the connected planning process. Earlier this year, his team was presented with the SiriusDecisions’ Program of the Year Customer Engagement Award for 2018, and with 900 customers across 40 countries, Anaplan is the industry's fastest-growing provider of connected planning solutions.

Prior to Anaplan, Simon held the role of CEO at The Business Foundation, a rich, patent-pending tool and methodology allowing organizations to identify and focus on key drivers that support strategic initiatives or goals. Before that, he served as Head of Product Marketing for Adaytum, a leading Business Intelligence vendor, until its acquisition by IBM Cognos in 2003. Earlier in his career, Simon held roles in Product and Corporate Marketing & Management at Hyperion Solutions, (acquired by Oracle). He serves as an advisor on The California Polytechnic State University Board of Finance Analytics and is a frequent contributor to The Wounded Warrior Project for service veterans, as well as The American Humane Society.
