Predicting the Future in Business with Connected Planning

It’s no secret that digital transformation is emerging as a key driver of sweeping change in the world around us. The rapid pace of technological progress, alongside cultural and organizational transformation, geo-political trends, outdated regulations, and irrelevant metrics are all top-of-mind priorities for today’s policy-makers and business leaders. A Silicon Valley veteran with 25+ years’ leadership experience and member of Anaplan’s founding team, Simon is a pioneering leader in connected planning and has strong track record of managing successful teams for the $1.4B “Unicorn.” In his latest role as the company’s first CPO, Simon has addressed the fundamental changes taking place at the C-level and has revolutionized “planning” by making it a core prerequisite for today’s enterprises. He knows how disconnected data, people, and plans can cause major delays and cost billions of dollars, as he has had to fix planning processes that are complicated, slow, and costly due to inconsistent data and decision makers operating without the best insights. The lessons he has learned in helping to onboard new global customers – such as Coca Cola, McAfee, Seagate and Autodesk to scale – have guided his thinking ever since.
