Everyone wants the rainbow - reduced IT costs, scalability, continuity, flexibility, manageability, and innovation. But in order to get to that collaboration rainbow, you need the cloud! In this presentation, we'll cover three areas:

First - the rainbow of benefits from cloud collaboration. There are many different reasons why more and more companies and institutions are moving to the cloud.  Benefits include: cost savings (reducing on-prem infrastructure, reducing data center foot print, reducing IT support costs), enabling growth (ensuring a highly available, highly scalable infrastructure), increasing employee access & engagement (by having collaboration tools that are usable and available globally regardless of location there will be an increased connectedness amongst teams and individuals that will help increase both efficiency and productivity.)

Second - clearing away the storm clouds of concern around privacy, security, and compliance. While a move to the cloud may help provide some of the benefits described, it's important to understand what some of the key concerns and things to consider when moving to the cloud.  Those three areas are privacy (how to ensure your content and user data is protected and ensure users are only able to view the content to which they are entitled), security (how to prevent malicious attacks and other intrusions aimed to compromise the system or steal data), and compliance (making sure you adhere to the IT regulations set forth by your industry or local government).  

Third - the simple steps for getting to the cloud - starting with choosing a buying model that bridges the path, understanding gateway technologies, and creating user experiences that accelerate the shift. We will walk through a two lane road map that shows both the technical path and the business strategy path.  For the technical path we will discuss what needs to be in place architecturally to move to the cloud, what role hybrid integrations that bridge on-prem with the cloud can play, and what is the full breadth of collaboration capabilities available in the cloud. For the business strategy path, we will discuss how to prepare your users and ensure that areas such as adoption and absorption of these capabilities are being addressed.
